When one delves into the history of bamboo rods the names E.C. Powell and Lew Stoner come to mind. These gentlemen paved the way with their revolutionary tapers for those who have journeyed to the Left Coast to battle the big bull trout of the Metolius or the steelies of the Skykomish.
